Co-Curator of the Lest We Forget Slavery Museum, Gwen Ragsdale, will explore connections between her museum's collections and the greater Chew landscape, and graduate student, Arlisha Norwood, will discuss recently unearthed findings about the extended Chew family and their properties in Maryland, specifically Anne Arundel County.
Examining the Chew Landscape & Cliveden Food Chain will take place in the Carriage House, which is wheelchair accessible. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased here. Space is limited, reservations are required. Light refreshments are included.
